The Return of the Big Year-End Tasting & Lunch

Once again, General manager Shelley has given us exclusive use of The Garden Room. The tasting will include a full 3-course menu catering for all options including the obligatory Turkey. Menus will be distributed in November, and you will be able to select your choices. As a seasoned regular, I can happily confirm the food is amazing.

So, what’s going to be opened? Well of course we’ll kick off with Champagne, and I’m thinking Bérèche, or Vouette et Sorbée as a start point. We will then take a closer look at Germany and Alsace (purely as they go so well with Christmas cuisine) – Marc Tempe Pinot Noir anybody? Other whites will be deliciously French and Rhôney, whilst reds will encompass California (of course they will!), Italy, France and maybe I’ll slip in a little Malbec from Catena for variety. I’m thinking producers will include CAMi, Pilcrow, Georges Vernay, Fontodi,…
